Apostle Burton Ross, Senior Pastor
Apostle Burton Ross is the founding Pastor and Presiding Apostle of The Assembly Church of Florence. Under his leadership The Assembly has thrived and become a place where the broken are restored, the sick are healed, and the oppressed are made free. He was born in British Guyana, South America to Bishop Burton & Lady Bernice Ross. He was saved at twelve, filled with the Holy Ghost at fifteen, and reluctantly answered the ministry call at nineteen. Pastor is a servant has served in all ranks of ministry needed in his dad’s ministry. He continued to be mentored and doctrinally trained by his father Bishop Ross and soon becoming a Sunday School teacher, then Youth Pastor, and later Associate Pastor.
Apostle Ross attended Valley Forge Christian University in western Pennsylvania, Andersonville Theological Seminary in SC, and is a graduate of the Assemblies of God District School of Ministry for Developing Leaders. In 2024 he was affirmed as Apostle in the Lord’s Church and has fathered and mentored many. As a trailblazer and apostolic voice, the anointing the teacher, preacher, pastor and prophet are on him. The gifts of Word of Knowledge, Discerning of Spirits and Holy Ghost Power to lay hands of deliverance on those bound by devils. He is married to Dr. Prophetess Chakeva Ross and together they have 4 children; Avery, Davian, Cierra, and Zander.
Dr. Prophetess Chakeva Ross, Leading Lady
Dr. Prophetess Chakeva Ross (Dr. C) is the Leading Lady of The Assembly Church of Florence. Dr. C is a dynamic preacher, teacher, and ordained prophet in the Body of Christ. As a Prophet, Dr. regularly serves as an iterate speaker for conferences, gatherings, and church services throughout Georgia and South Carolina. She attended Walkden University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Services from Walden University, Masters of Science in Human Services with an emphasis is Crisis Intervention & Family Counseling, and a Doctorate of Divinity (D.DIV) from Grace Christian University with an emphasis in Chaplaincy & Pastoral Care.
Dr. C is founder of Relentless Ministry, a teaching and preaching outreach ministry “where the pursuit o God never ends”. Relentless Ministry gives to local community our reach projects, food banks, and even proves haircuts and school supplies for children returning to school. She is a author of two best selling books, “Beyond the Break” and “The Worshiper Within”. Dr. C recently received the Woman of Power Award Atlanta hosted by Power 100 Magazine Nov. 22, 2025. She is married to Apostle Burton Ross and together they have 4 children; Avery, Davian, Cierra, and Zander.
